Let Me Tell You Bout My Best Friend

One of the great things about every visit we make to San Francisco is that Nutmeg gets to reconnect with her babyhood best friend, Eliot. Even though they have always changed and grown between meetings -- when we moved away Eliot was really just a toddler and the 5-month age difference seemed massive -- they always seem to pick up right where they left off.

In the above pic they are at the cable car turnaround. Since we stayed at the top of Nob Hill most of the week, we got to use the cable car as our main form of transportation. Then we went to stay with Eliot in another neighborhood for the weekend. The funny thing was, SF resident Eliot didn't remember the last time he'd been on a cable car, while Nutmeg had become quite expert from riding them all week. So the visitor got to tell the local all about it.

Chasing at Dolores Park. Look at all that green, green grass. Thank God I could take Rhinocort during pregnancy, and thank God it worked.
