It's Like Having a UN Observer in Your Home

Yesterday, Epu and I were bickering in the car. Yes, we know we shouldn't do this in front of the children, because one of the children reminded us.

"Mommy!" Nutmeg shouted from the back seat. "You are saying bad things and hurting Daddy's feelings!"

Well, that'll put a damper on a good rant.

Another interesting thing that came out of Nutmeg's mouth lately:

We came across the word "isolated" in "Stormy, Misty's Foal." She informs me that "isolated" means "here and there."

No, I tell her, it means, "all alone."

"No it does not," she says. "You told me: Isolated thunderstorms means, 'storms here and there.'"

And now I'm going to have to start carrying the OED in my diaper bag.
