I heard a piece by a mom on Chicago Public Radio yesterday that made me bawl while driving down the freeway. Unfortunately I can't find a link to the individual piece, but here's the segment. The author says she's walking on a tightrope, balancing between the mother she wants to be and the abyss of the mother she fears becoming. I hear ya, sister.
But being a bad housekeeper doesn't make you a bad mom, right? Not according to the Connecticut Supreme Court, it don't. Thanks, Conn.

Wow, I can see why that would resonate with you - it certainly did for me. I think most mothers would relate to that, unless they are unaware of the "ugly net". I have to tell you, at first, I was listening to the guy who offered advice in the form of a song and thought I wouldn't find the segment you mentioned. I'm glad I stuck it out. :-P
I'm glad I stuck it out too.
I know I can relate. The fine line we walk and the courage and strength it takes to balance it all out, every.single.day.
