More Culture Shock

For the second week in a row, the Tribune food section features fried chicken. Last week was reviewing local fried chicken places, this week, how to make the best fried chicken at home.

People still make fried chicken at home?????

Maybe this is in honor of picnic season. Let's hope, right?

My midwest-living brother actually owns a deep-frier... in the same way I might own a juicer. In fact, I do. Go California.

On the upside, you get to have BRATS whenever you want... well, once you're done being preggers and all.

You guys in the states are missing out real big time, I have discovered a menu which would make your hair curl(or straighten), this is sort of ahead of the rest, eye ball popping and could be a bit on the nose, Warning if you suffer from nausea dont call.

tasty tasty slurp slurp ummm. Vest daily gaggle.

I grew up here in California, non-the-less San Diego and San Francisco, and I often make friend chicken--oops, mean fried, guess that shows how I feel about the chicken...
