OK, I quite my job today and we're moving to the Midwest in a month. But let's not blog about that. Let's blog about:

1) When Booja is here, he naps on the couch. During his weekend visit, Epu walked into the living room to find him sitting on the Charlie Caterpillar rocking horse. Asleep. Sleep rocking. Epu returned Booja to the couch with only one little cry, and the little guy proceeded to sleep another hour.

2) The Easter Bunny:

After Epu accepted his new job offer Tuesday, we interviewed a Realtor, and then took our little family out to Ted's Sports Bar to celebrate. To make up for the fact that we weren't buying her a beer, I entertained Nutmeg with tales of the Easter Bunny. In the past, we told her all kinds of stuff, with no consequences. But now. But now, she remembers stuff. So the next morning, as always, when she woke up I asked her what she dreamed about. She always says, about (Grandma and Grandpa's dog) Indydog. But that morning, she said, "About Indydog. And the Easter Bunny." Then she told me all the things I had told her the night before: How the Easter Bunny would come when she was sleeping, would come to our house, would bring an Easter Basket, with Easter Treats.

Today, she wanted to go out the front door, in the rain, dressed in just a diaper. Why, I asked.

"Want to check if the Easter Bunny is coming."
