Epu Sightings

Epu just walked out the door for work. Since I returned from my 3-day weekend, I saw him for:

1) 1 minute at 3:30 a.m., when he came in and I briefly woke up
2) 1 minute at 7:30 this morning, when Nutmeg interrupted his sleep and I dragged her out of the bedroom.
3) 5 minutes at around 9:30, when he stumbled out of the bedroom to make a business-related phone call and Nutmeg forced him to read her a story before he could go back to sleep
4) 5 minutes just now, (1:45 p.m.) between me returning from the store and him leaving for work. He declined to estimate what time he might be back.

At least I got a hug this last time. I miss my husband! He was looking really cute in this suede jacket he got for Xmas and his Armani glasses (yes, you're a geek when the only Armani thing you've ever owned is a pair of high-voltage prescription specs). I've already been kind of mopey today, despite the joy of reuniting with Nutmeg, just because I was surrounded by friends all weekend and now it's back to the home alone thing. And we had to skip this fun new playgroup thing we've been going to due to Nutmeg's illness. I think I'm actually looking forward to going to work tomorrow, just to see my work people. That's not as crazy as it sounds. They're good people. Of course, I have to say that, since a few people from there have started reading this lately. Hi, guys.
