Monkey see ...

Nutmeg now has a favorite book. Curious George Takes a Train. In it, there is a picture of that "good little monkey" riding on a toy train engine.

Today, Nutmeg sat on her Fisher-Price train and tried to ride on it.

Coincidence? I think not. I ony fear what may happen if she gets her hands on "Curious George Goes to the Hospital."

Hilarious. I think it was an episode of Family Guy that had a funny bit about Curious George, which your story made me think of. If I remember correctly, the father gets challenged for not reading the bible. He then says he does all the time. When asked what his favorite book in the bible is, he replies, "the one where Jesus swallows a puzzle piece, and the man in the yellow hat has to take him to the hospital."

I'd keep those puzzles away from Nutmeg for awhile, just in case. :)

Sitting on a train is much better then having you kid watched by your husband everyday.

Occassionally she gets to watch Daddy's shows. The next day she will great me at the door and actually wrestle me to the ground—then proceed to jump on me.

Once I am on the ground with her sitting on my chest, she sweetly smiles and says, "Hi Mommy. You home?" At which point I yell, "KEN!? WE NEED TO TALK!"

I don't know your e-mail, so now I get to respond to your response from my comment here. phew…

You are SO right about the dishes. I want the dishes done too. Ordinarily, my husband is a good Mr. Mom. When we decided someone needed to stay home with Phoebe, we knew that he was the better choice—because he wouldn't stuff her in the basement so he could have quiet while watching Oprah.

That was a joke. It's sad I had to say that.
