Just sent a donation to Unicef. It was the only way I could move on with my day after seeing this picture in the New York Times. The baby in the picture is the same age as Nutmeg. I can't stand it.
It's very difficult to watch children suffer, especially after you have your own and you think "what if that was my child?". It's harder for me to watch children I see and work with every day be mistreated. I think UNICEF is great, but I wish there were more things in place to help children closer to home.

Wow. Does this photo ever put into perspective my "what if my poor baby is formula fed?" dilemma. This is truly tragic.
