Here are a few sf parenting resources that I'm going to stick on this blog so i have them. and so any of my mom friends reading this can see em too. i got them from the book Babies by the Bay, which I checked out from the Day One library, and from the Golden Gate Mother's Group.

parks.sfgov.org:
to find out about free programs for little ones at city facilities.
Notably, the Mission Rec Center there's The Little People's Club, apparently a "Child Observation" program that goes up to age 1 on fridays from noon to 2:30. I think that's the free program run by child development students from city college.
At Moscone Center, there is a drop in Kids Gym for ages 9 months to 3 years on Thurs and Fri, from 10 a.m. to noon. Cost is $4 drop in or $25 a semester 292-2006
At the Upper Noe Rec Center there's also Kids Gym, ages 1-5, Monday, Tues and Thurs, from 10-12. $2 per child.
At the Tenderloin Rec Center, there's that little people's club thing again, ages 1-5, tuesday 11:30-1:30, Thursday 12 to 2. And there's Kids Gym, for up to age 3, mon, wed and fri 10-12. no cost listed.
